Cement Based/
Cemfloor, Longfloor Fast Drying Screeds
Cemfloor and Longfloor boasts exceptional thermal conductivity of up to 2.9W/mk and is very suitable and responsive to underfloor heating due to the fact it can be laid in very thin sections.
These cement based screeds also offer a faster drying time to receive the final floor finish.
If there is an underfloor heating system within the screed you could fit your final floor finish in as little as 14 days. If there is no underfloor heating system in place, the final floor covering can be installed within 5 days of the screed pour.

Calcium Sulphate/
Anhydrite Flowing Screeds
These screeds are well suited to underfloor heating systems in light of its relatively high thermal conductivity (2.2 W/mK). Generally placed at a 50mm depth these screeds work with or without underfloor heating systems.
After placement these screeds are ready to receive foot traffic within 36 hours.

Flowing Screeds & Self leveling Screed
Flowing screeds are premixed and brought to site in a concrete mixer truck.
We test the flow of the screed to see if it’s at the desired spread which gives us an indication of how it will flow when placing. If water needs to be added to bring it up to the desired flow then we can onsite which doesn’t affect the product. Once the screed is correct the placement can commence, more often than not, we will be working to a datum level instructed to us by either the client or the construction company. We use a series of tripods spread around the new area to be screeded, these tripods are an extension of the required datum and allow us to get the depth of screed correct throughout the build.

Screed Leveling
After the screed is placed, tripods are removed and we begin to level the screed with our dappling bars, this helps the screed become level. If the screed is cement based, it will need to be sprayed with a curing agent to prevent it drying too quickly.
Control joints are placed within doorways to control any potential cracking
